Yikes! Today I am tired and sore!!! Who does 15 laps of bear crawls? I do I guess and that was just part of the warm up. Trying to make a go of this, so I did a double today. I wasn't very creative with my menu today. Here it is. Luckily, I did go shopping today, so the next couple of days should be better.
Breakfast: Banana and sausage.
Lunch: Subway Chicken Chopped Spinach Salad
Snack: Blueberries not pictured.
Dinner: Sausage, veggie, egg scramble.
Whole 30

Day Two
While I made it to day two! Thanks to the support from Michelle and Nikki! Thanks for the texts through out the day. It helps to have someone going through the same process. Kyle asked when my challenge would be over. Little does he know it is going to be life style change not a little break. He might prove to be a little bit of a problem. Last night after our healthy dinner, he comes to bed eating two pop cycles and a handful of otter pops. He might be one of the before mentioned people that doesn't have to worry about their weight. Thank God Kelly is living with us right now. He helps me keep on track with the food and exercise. We started our day with a 4am workout and followed it up with a healthy breakfast.
Day two breakfast:
Eggs, jalapeno. canadian bacon, pepper, onion and avocado.
Lunch: Last nights left overs.
Snack: nuts, deli chicken and fruit.
Dinner: More left overs:(

Whole 30 day challenge Day 1!
What is that saying about doing the same thing over and over and hoping for different results? I think there is the word insanity in the phrase. That being said, I decided it was time to try a new approach. 50 by 50 was fun so why not try another number?
Unfortunately, I think I have been on some sort of diet my whole life. Why can't I be one of those people that stay the same weight without even trying? Ok, enough whining. Time to take a new approach. My good friend Melanie had great success with the Whole 30 approach, so I talked my sister and niece into joining me in giving it a try. The book suggests making your journey public, so why not blog my journey.
Day One:
The before picture! Let's hope the after picture looks different:)
Maybe I can get it down to one chin!
Day One Food:
Breakfast: eggs, jalapeno, peppers, onions, canadian bacon, avocado and tomato.
Lunch:
Cucumber noodles, tomato, buffalo burger, and a slice of cantaloupe.
Dinner:
Ground turkey, jalapeno, peppers, onions, tomato, cilantro, lettuce and avocado.
Snack:
I wasn't suppose to have a snack but I caved.
Apple and almond butter.
